Hiring Standards

To be considered for employment at Impact Employment Solutions (IES) you must first be able to complete the Hiring Process. All candidates must have a resume to attach to there application. The hiring process includes passing a five panel drug screen, background check, and completing all required new hire documents.

The five panel drug screen includes testing for Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine, Ecstasy, Marijuana, Methamphetamines, Methadone, Opiates, and Phencyclidine Hydrochloride. If a candidate fails an initial drug screen the prospective employee has the option, at their initial expense, to be retested at a qualified laboratory or testing facility. If the second test results are negative, IES will reimburse the applicant for the re-test. If the potential employee should test positive and does not wish to contest it they would not be eligible to re apply until 1 calendar year has passed.

When on assignment with IES you will be subject to random drug screenings. Conducted quarterly the five panel random drug screen must be passed or will result in immediate termination. We will randomly select those to be screened from the social security numbers of all employees.

Background checks will be administered to determine availability of work assignments based on client’s requirements for Felonies/Misdemeanors.

New hire documentation includes the I-9 certificate which verifies that employees are legal to employ inside the United States. The W-4 must also be completed for any tax deductions necessary. Form 8850 and the State New Hire application must also be filled out and completed. You must have the legal documentation for the I-9 that is not expired. For information regarding the proper documentation for the I-9 please follow the link Hiring Process. IES cannot employ anyone until they have the above steps completed.

Professional and Clerical positions you must have at least two years experience in the related field for the position to be considered.
