Hiring Process
To become registered with Impact Employment Solutions (IES) to be considered for employment you must first fill out an application. We accept applications by walk-ins and filling out your application online and attaching your resume. After your application and resume is reviewed you will be contacted by one of our staffing experts to schedule an orientation.
The orientation will include filling out all necessary paperwork, a 5 panel drug screen, as well as a background check. You will need to bring the appropriate tax paperwork items which include all necessary identification items listed on the back of the I-9. The most common pieces of Identification include a photo ID (State ID, Drivers License, etc) and your Social Security card and Birth Certificate. After everything has been completed you will watch informational videos about workplace violence, General Manufacturing Practices, lock out tag out, safety video, and sexual harassment. Your representative will then speak to you about the specific clients that we serve as well as your preferred shift and any assessments necessary that are client specific.
After you have been registered with IES you are then required to call in once a week your availability. It is also suggested to check our Job Board regularly to keep up to date on our current job openings. This will help us place you in a position as we have opportunities come up.
When you are placed in a position with IES you must continue to follow the Temporary and Contract Employees Handbook. You must also comply with all workplace guidelines including dress code and personal protective equipment regulations at the specific client location to continue your employment.
