Q: If work slows down and I am laid off how do I keep my unemployment?

A: If you are laid off from Impact Employment Solutions (IES) you are still eligible for unemployment while we look for you a job. Your responsibility is to call in once a week your availability for that week.

Q: What is the difference between temporary and temp to hire?

A: A temporary position is to cover for a leave, vacation, or slight pick up in work that will not lead to a job opening. Temp to hire means that the client will bring you in temporarily for a permanent position that is open with their company that you could be considered for.

Q: If I have a felony/misdemeanor does that disqualify me from working with you?

A: Having a felony/misdemeanor does not disqualify you from working with us. We do have certain limitations based off our client requests.

Q: How can I find a job with Impact Employment Solutions?

A: You can start by checking out our Job Search page to find all available opportunities. After applying online you will be contacted to set up an orientation at your local Impact Employment Solutions office.

Q: How do I register with Impact Employment Solutions?

A: First you will fill out our online application which includes attaching your resume. You will then be contacted by one of our representatives to set up an orientation. Our orientations include a 5 panel drug screen, miscellaneious paperwork, and a safety video. Afterwards you will be considered for any position that you are qualified for.

Q: If I am in college am I eligible for employment with IES?

A: Absolutely as long as the potential employee is 18 years of age we encourage college students to get registered with us for our summer recruitment programs. We have many opportunities for college students to earn experience as well as an income during their summer break.

Q: Do you have any part-time work available?

A: We do offer some part time employment opportunities. Most of the part-time jobs are on an as needed on call basis. Make sure you let your Recruiter know that is something that interests you and we can call you with opportunities within your availability. We cannot have you work a half shift but if you have a certain day off and would like to be called about work on that specific day we can get it set up for you.
